WWE has named Paul Heyman as Executive Director of Monday Night Raw and Eric Bischoff as Executive Director of SmackDown LIVE, newly created positions reporting directly to WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon.
In their executive roles, Heyman and Bischoff will oversee the creative development of WWE’s flagship programming and ensure integration across all platforms and lines of business. The creation of these roles further establishes WWE’s ability to continuously reinvent its global brand while providing two distinct creative processes for its flagship shows. With more than 30 years of experience in the sports-entertainment industry, Heyman served as President of ECW from 1993 to 2001, securing pay-per-view distribution for the company as well as a national cable television deal with TNN. After his time with ECW, Heyman joined WWE’s Creative team and is widely credited with helping launch the careers of many current and former WWE Superstars. Bischoff is a former WCW President and New York Times bestselling author. During his WCW career, Bischoff oversaw the signing of some of the biggest names in sports-entertainment and helped create and develop the nWo storyline. He was also instrumental in securing a television deal for WCW Monday Nitro on TNT and WCW Thunder on TBS. After WCW, Bischoff co-founded Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment, a production company that launched TV reality shows and mobile games.

We can’t keep holding schools responsible for the education of our children – parents matter too28/6/2019 Written by: John Anderson Smith - Blog Author & Writer
It’s absurd to lay all the responsibility for a child’s education at the feet of their school. Parents play a huge part in providing children with stimuli and experiences outside the confines of formal education. Yet as a society, we continue to act as though the only way to increase educational standards is to tinker with schools: to change the curricula, to make the school day longer, or introduce phonics tests to see how well young children are learning to read and write. Since the publication of the landmark Coleman report in 1968, we have known that family background accounts for a large part of the gaps in academic achievement. We know that increasing parents’ interaction with their children’s learning is the best bet we have to improve their education. It’s what happens in the home and the car, and everywhere else that children are during the 75% of their time when they are not in school, that makes the difference. Yet this information is constantly ignored. Everyone knows parents’ influence is there, but we still don’t know what to do about it. Outreach from schools The Welsh government has just published a new toolkit to help schools in the way they engage with parents. It makes the point that what will make a difference to children’s outcomes is not engaging parents with schools (though that might be a necessary first step), but rather engaging parents in the learning of their children. Schools in England now have to prove to the inspectorate Ofsted that they involve parents effectively – a good and appropriate first step. However, as myself and colleagues have argued before, parent’s involvement with schools, such as attending parents’ evenings, is best when it leads on to involvement with schooling, such as helping with homework. In a 2007 study, myself and colleagues asked more than 100 teenagers in England what they wanted from their parents and what would support their learning. The answer was clear: moral support. Secondary school students wanted to know that their parents cared for them and that their families valued education. As one student summed up for many others: “If they don’t care about it, why should you?” If we really want to increase achievement, particularly for our students who struggle the most, then we need to look outside the school gates and start supporting their families as well. This means that schools need to consider their dealings with parents through exactly the same lens as they do their interactions with students: a lens of learning. What will help parents to help their children learn? Showing you care I suggest there are six points schools could follow to help support parents, which could increase achievement and narrow the gap between children from different backgrounds. First, schools can support parents’ early work with children to get good habits established about valuing education. For example, changing the question from “what did you do today?” to “what did you learn today?” is much easier when children are in their early years. Second, most parents readily read with and to their children, but they could do much more. If children are looking at weights and measures at school, for example, a simple note to this effect from teachers to parents asking them to discuss these ideas when cooking, can make a large difference to the child. Third, schools should support parents’ active interest in their children’s learning. To do this, schools need to make sure that parents have information and suggestions that are clear and easy to understand and act on. And fourth, teachers can emphasise the importance of parents’ interest: it’s not about parents knowing the answers to homework questions, rather, what’s important is parents caring whether the learning takes place at all. Reading with a five-year-old is one thing – supporting an A Level student is quite another. So fifth, schools should continue to support parents to have high aspirations and to stay engaged, particularly as children get older. Underpinning all this, schools need to emphasise the value of learning in the home – this is my sixth point. To acknowledge this, we have to move the debate on from thinking that education and learning only happen in the classroom. Schooling takes place in school, but that is a subset of the much larger and more wide-ranging concept of education. For too long, we’ve seen home and school as dichotomous entities: we need to start seeing them as part of a continuum of learning for every child.

What if, instead of sending bullies, mean kids, and disruptive students to detention, principals sent them to a meditation room, where they learned mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques, and were encouraged to talk about the incident that landed them “in meditation?”
What if, instead of rolling their eyes (or claiming “I didn’t mean it that way”) students who mocked, taunted, and ridiculed their classmates (and those classmates who were hurt by/acted out in the face of such social aggression) were offered the option of doing yoga, practicing breathing exercises, and exploring the stressors that led to behaviors that shamed their classmates? What if guidance counselors received training in these practices, and/or mental health experts in schools were qualified to provide mindfulness instruction to students? Or if schools partnered with mindfulness institutes like the Holistic Life Foundation to create programs that sent students who were socially and/or emotionally disruptive to a “time out” space—a room with essential oils, overstuffed pillows, yoga mats, and an ongoing loop of exercises that promoted mind-calming stress-reduction skills? This is exactly what a handful of schools in the U.S. and the U.K. have begun to do. CNN reports that in West Baltimore, at Robert W. Coleman Elementary School, "meditation-interventions" have become part of the school culture: "Into a room of pillows and lavender, an elementary school student walks, enraged. He's just been made fun of by another student, an altercation that turned to pushing and name-calling. But rather than detention or the principal's office, his teacher sent him here. " MNN.com reports that in England, beginning the first week of February (Children's Mental Health Week), up to 370 schools will participate in a three-year trial involving mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and student sessions with mental health experts. Meditation has been shown to improve physical health, mental health, and overall well-being. Its particular effectiveness addressing anger, anxiety, and even ADHD are increasingly well-documented. Mindfulness slows the breathing, and turns attention away from racing thoughts and toward the sensations of the body. Sitting quietly—in the here-and-now—students are encouraged to feel their feelings, and let them go; to allow thoughts and emotions to arise, and to watch them, without judging. As they become alert to various sensations in their body, and slow their breathing, they change their relationship with the stressors that have landed them in “meditation.” When students begin letting go of physical tensions, they begin developing the skills that foster self-regulation, and the perspectives that scaffold acceptance—of self and other. The initial results have been overwhelmingly positive: Coleman has not issued a suspension in two years—the same amount of time they’ve been experimenting with teaching mindfulness and calming techniques to students. Their partnership with the Holistic Life Foundation (the “holistic me” plan) includes a 15-minute daily meditation at the opening and close of each day, a pillow-filled Mindful Moment Room where disruptive students will be sent by their teacher (or where students can voluntarily spend time), and after-school yoga classes. Other schools, like Visitacion Valley Middle School in San Francisco, which began its meditation program over a decade ago, have had similar results. Although these results are not based on clinical trials, the schools that have served as laboratories are satisfied to allow the proof to be in the pudding. Their programming has bypassed the need for strict definitions and control groups, comparing current school climate, absentee numbers, and rates of suspension to those in prior years. To principals and teachers, this is sufficient evidence that mindfulness programming can have a positive impact on their students, which in turn has improved the climate of their schools. Bullying still occurs, but when it does, there are ways to address the dynamics in play before situations spiral out of hand. If you are interested in exploring mindfulness programming in your school, resources include the Mindful Schools organization, which has been training teachers and facilitating mindfulness in US schools since 2007. In the UK, the Mindfulness In Schools Project has been providing teacher training in education since 2009. Special thanks to Psychology Today Education for giving this advice Parents used to be able to drop their kids off for the day knowing that they would be perfectly safe behind school walls.
But in the days of mass shootings, the rise of campus violence has brought the issue into the media spotlight. From the shooting at Sandy Hook to the more recent violence at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, today’s climate brings up some important questions: Are children really safe at school? How can we make sure schools are a safe place to learn? While there’s nothing that teachers can do that will put an end to gun violence, there are steps you can take to help keep your school safe. As you start to get your classroom ready and prep for the upcoming school year, keep these classroom safety tips in mind. You never know when you might need them. 1. Know the Layout of Your School Teachers need to know every detail of the school layout, classroom numbers, and hall names. You also need to have several exit routes in mind to get from your classroom to safety. In the event of an active shooter, knowing these routes by heart will help you make split-second survival decisions. Knowing the layout of the school can also help the administration establish some safety precautions. Having a buzz-in entry system, video surveillance, or security guards at all open entrances can help prevent the shooter from entering in the first place. 2. Teach as Far Away From the Door as Possible Being a teacher is more than just a job–it’s a moral responsibility too. Teachers are often the first target of a school shooting attack. Students rely on your guidance to keep them safe. In the event of an attack, they’ll look to you for help, so you need to buy yourself more time. Place your teaching desk or podium further away from the door. The further you are from the shooter, the more difficult of a target you become. 3. Create a Natural Wall in the Classroom Try constructing a barrier on the way into the classroom. Any kind of obstacle near the door will force an intruder to work harder to get in, which buys you and your students precious time. This could be anything like a bookshelf, closet, or storage boxes that you stack along the door, creating a pathway to get inside. It won’t obstruct your students, but it will make things a lot harder for a violent attacker. 5. Invest in a Safety Device The best way to ensure the safety of your students is to stop the shooter from getting inside in the first place. Locking the door can be hard to accomplish in a few seconds–especially under pressure. And not everybody has the authority to lock classroom doors during school hours. Consider investing in a safety device that can lock down doors in seconds. It’s fast, error proof, and always ready. Read more here about how to pick the right safety device for your classroom. Keeping Your School Safe When it comes to teaching, the safety of your students is your top priority. As a teacher, it might feel like there’s nothing you can do to stop the threat of gun violence. Solving this complex issue isn’t on your shoulders–but there are some small steps you can take to keep your school safe in the event of a violent tragedy. With these tips in mind, your students can learn in an environment where they feel safe. Looking for more teaching advice? The saying “every man for himself” was echoed throughout this Triple Threat clash, with bodies flying in and out of the ring and a series of nail-biting near-falls. Nese, the fighting champion that he is, had his work cut out for him. That reminder came moments after the opening bell when Akira Tozawa shot straight through the ropes with a diving attack on Nese and followed up by leveling Gulak with a flying senton on the outside. Not far behind was Gulak and his cache of excruciating submission holds. Combating both of these forces, Nese relied on his awe-inspiring strength, at one point lifting Tozawa with a suplex before flattening him onto Gulak. The pivotal moment in this roller coaster affair occurred when The Premier Athlete attempted to deliver Running Nese onto Gulak, but Gulak countered with a Torture Rack. As The Philadelphia Stretcher dropped Nese on the apron, the running missile that is Tozawa launched into Nese with a dropkick out of nowhere. With the champion out of the ring, Gulak found an opening to sync in a whiplash-inducing Torture Rack Neckbreaker on Tozawa to pull out the win and finally complete his mission to raise the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Four-Year College or University A traditional four-year college or university prepares your child for a wide range of professional careers. College can be a challenge for any student. It requires hard work without much supervision. Your child won’t have an Individualized Education Program(IEP) to help he or her stay on track in college, either. Talk with your child’s IEP team about what type of college is the right choice. Smaller schools may offer more attention. Larger ones may have more resources. When looking at colleges, meet with each school’s disability services office to make sure their team can support your child. Some colleges have LD programs that offer additional services and supports. Two-Year College A two-year college may be a great option for your child if she’s unsure about her career path or isn’t ready for a four-year college. These programs give her the option to move on to a four-year school. Or they can strengthen her skills and prepare her for a career with a two-year degree. Two-year colleges may offer tutoring and training to help students move into adult life. They can help your child build her time management and study skills and get used to college life while still living at home. Trade and Certificate Programs Trade or vocational programs offer a direct path toward specific jobs. Students who struggle in school may prefer this type of hands-on learning. There are programs in a wide range of areas, including things like web design, electronics and medical assistance. Many colleges also offer certificate programs. Programs tend to provide more supervision, to help students keep up with their work. Many also offer internships or apprenticeships that help students move into the workforce. The Military This can be a good option for students who thrive on structure and physical activity. The training involves a lot of practice and repetition. Service in the armed forces can lead to a job or college-level education. It’s important to consider how your child’s learning and attention issues could impact her training. Can she work without accommodations? Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act guarantees access for people with disabilities. But it doesn’t cover all parts of the military. Gap Year Some teens don’t feel ready for college directly after high school. One option for them is a “gap year.” A gap year is becoming more common among American students. And many colleges will now allow students to defer enrollment for a year. Many students spend their gap year exploring interests through internships, volunteer experiences, a job or travel. Work If more schooling isn’t right for your teen, going straight to work can be a rewarding path. But in a tough job market she may have trouble getting a job, especially if she has no experience. If that’s the case, she might consider volunteering for a while to build skills. School guidance counselors and community centers can help find internships and volunteer work that interest her. Family members and friends may know of jobs that would suit your child, too. As your child learns solid work skills, she’ll become more independent. And she may discover a career path that leads her to further training.

Daily Reading for Saturday June 22, 2019
Reading 1, Second Corinthians 12:1-10 Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 34:8-9, 10-11, 12-13 Gospel, Matthew 6:24-34 Reading 1, Second Corinthians 12:1-10 1 I am boasting because I have to. Not that it does any good, but I will move on to visions and revelations from the Lord. 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago -- still in the body? I do not know; or out of the body? I do not know: Godknows -- was caught up right into the third heaven. 3 And I know that this man -- still in the body? or outside the body? I do not know, God knows- 4 was caught up into Paradise and heard words said that cannot and may not be spoken by any human being. 5 On behalf of someone like that I am willing to boast, but I am not going to boast on my own behalf except of my weaknesses; 6 and then, if I do choose to boast I shall not be talking like a fool because I shall be speaking the truth. But I will not go on in case anybody should rate me higher than he sees and hears me to be, because of the exceptional greatness of the revelations. 7 Wherefore, so that I should not get above myself, I was given a thorn in the flesh, a messenger from Satan to batter me and prevent me from getting above myself. 8 About this, I have three times pleaded with the Lord that it might leave me; 9 but he has answered me, 'My grace is enough for you: for power is at full stretch in weakness.' It is, then, about my weaknesses that I am happiest of all to boast, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me; 10 and that is why I am glad of weaknesses, insults, constraints, persecutions and distress for Christ's sake. For it is when I am weak that I am strong. Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 34:8-9, 10-11, 12-13 8 Taste and see that Yahweh is good. How blessed are those who take refuge in him. 9 Fear Yahweh, you his holy ones; those who fear him lack for nothing. 10 Young lions may go needy and hungry, but those who seek Yahweh lack nothing good. 11 Come, my children, listen to me, I will teach you the fear of Yahweh. 12 Who among you delights in life, longs for time to enjoy prosperity? 13 Guard your tongue from evil, your lips from any breath of deceit. Gospel, Matthew 6:24-34 24 'No one can be the slave of two masters: he will either hate the first and love the second, or be attached to the first and despise the second. You cannot be the slave both of God and of money. 25 'That is why I am telling you not to worry about your life and what you are to eat, nor about your body and what you are to wear. Surely life is more than food, and the body more than clothing! 26 Look at the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they are? 27 Can any of you, however much you worry, add one single cubit to your span of life? 28 And why worry about clothing? Think of the flowers growing in the fields; they never have to work or spin; 29 yet I assure you that not even Solomon in all his royal robes was clothed like one of these. 30 Now if that is how God clothes the wild flowers growing in the field which are there today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, will he not much more look after you, you who have so little faith? 31 So do not worry; do not say, "What are we to eat? What are we to drink? What are we to wear?" 32 It is the gentiles who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all. 33 Set your hearts on his kingdom first, and on God's saving justice, and all these other things will be given you as well. 34 So do not worry about tomorrow: tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.' When you’re in a leadership position, it is imperative that the people with whom you work respect you but respect is never a given. It must always be earned. Your team might respect your work habits, your intelligence or your ability to close a deal but there’s more to respect than that.
If you can earn their respect as a person, then you’ve really won the game. Here are some tips that can help you earn more respect. 1. Be kind. Always be polite to everyone you meet during the day, from your spouse and children to your co-workers, to the checkout person at the grocery store. I know, this is easier said than done, especially when you’re having a bad day. But if you would want to be treated respectfully; so does everyone else. Give others the same respect you’d like to receive yourself. Seek out actions you can take to offer politeness. Open the door at the coffee shop for the person behind you, or let the person with one item go ahead of you in the grocery store. Smile and say please and thank you whenever possible. Related: 10 Acts of Kindness Remarkable People Perform Each Day 2. Act respectfully. Eliminate non-respectful behaviors such as rolling your eyes, concentrating more on your cell phone, or talking over someone. Not only are these actions disrespectful of the person you’re interacting with, they deter or prevent further involvement or resolution of issues, and create a wedge that can become permanent. Instead, foster an environment of respectful listening. Everyone deserves to be heard, even if you don’t agree always with one’s ideas or opinions. Consider how you’d like to be treated if you have something to say, especially if there is an issue at hand. 3. Listen well. Listening is an active process, not a passive one. Actively listen by taking your own opinions and thoughts out of your mind, and actually hear what the other person is trying to convey. Most often in today’s conversations, one person’s comments “trigger” thoughts in the listener, who then brings forth their own story along the same lines. Instead of telling your tale, ask questions that encourage the speaker to tell you more. When you practice effective listening skills, you will make others feel important and validated. Related: Listening Is an Art, and Mastering it Will Make You a Great Leader 4. Be useful. People earn respect by always being ready to lend a hand or an ear whenever they’re needed or notice an opportunity to help. Look for opportunities to help that you might have previously overlooked. Take responsibility and do things without waiting for someone to ask for assistance. See how many times you can be helpful in a day. 5. Don’t make excuses. Your actions are based on your choices, and barring some unforeseen circumstance, there is no reason for excuses. Own your actions. If you’re late, it’s probably because you did not manage your time effectively. If you didn’t finish a job, it’s most likely that you didn’t focus on the task at hand or you got caught up doing unnecessary tasks. Own up to your mistakes and instead of dwelling on them, look for opportunities to move past them and commit to doing better. 6. Let go of anger. Holding on to anger or a grudge doesn’t hurt anyone but yourself. Allow yourself to be angry momentarily, then move beyond it to either rectify the situation or put it behind you. It doesn’t help to dwell on a situation. Not to mention, the stress will cause anxiety and maybe even cause health problems. No one is perfect and everyone screws up from time to time. Allow others, and yourself, to gracefully recover and focus on a positive new target. Forgive, and then forget. 7. Be willing to change. Being stubborn won’t get you anywhere. Realize that the process of evolution includes change. Make an effort to grow as a person; learn new skills, try new activities, and especially, re-examine your automatic behaviors. And don’t forget to congratulate yourself on progress you make along the way to becoming a better person. Related: How to Be Successful by Embracing Change There is no clearer sign that foes of educational choice have lost the battle of ideas than the Daytona Beach News-Journal’s desperate attempt to smear Florida’s choice law. Annie Martin’s front-page story in the Sunday edition of the News-Journal contains numerous inaccuracies about Florida’s scholarship tax credit law, which helps tens of thousands of low-income kids attend the school that’s best for them. For example, Martin claims in the second paragraph that the scholarship law “diverted $1.3 billion from state coffers,” which is irresponsibly misleading given that the Florida legislature’s nonpartisan Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability found that the law saves $1.44 for every $1 in reduced tax revenue. She also repeatedly refers to “publicly-funded” scholarships, though the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the scholarships consist private funding. But Martin’s most shameful attack on the educational choice law is her insinuation that children at Florida’s private schools are less safe than children at government-run schools, based solely on a recent case of a private school teacher caught with child pornography: But is it reasonable to expect private organizations to make their employee files public, even if they receive public funding? Mark Tress, the superintendent of the private school where Graziotti had worked, argues that it is not:
The public records law no more applies to private schools than it does to The News-Journal itself. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of private businesses receive money from the state and from school districts for services rendered and are not subject to the law. In this case, we are gratefully cooperating with law enforcement officials and have handed over, among numerous school records, the teacher’s personnel file. It sheds no new light.

As a rule, when you beat Cesaro, The Miz, Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley in the same match, you tend to rise head and shoulders above the rest of the field. Of course, Ricochet is used to being head and shoulders above everyone else — his resting state seems to be about eight feet off the ground — but this, his biggest singles victory yet, was perhaps the most concise example of what the former NXT North American Champion is capable of and what he may achieve.
Witness, for example, the two 630 Splashes he administered, a maneuver that dazes most WWE.com editors just thinking about it. Also witness his ground game, which was on full display when he powered out of The Miz’s Naitch-adjacent Figure-Four Leglock with all the grittiness of a Mid-South scrapper in the ‘80s. And, finally, witness the finesse with which Ricochet dispatched United States Champion Samoa Joe, who he’ll challenge for the star-spangled title on Sunday by way of the Fatal 5-Way Match victory and who unwisely attempted to jump the speedster after the bell. No dice. Ricochet showed he won’t be played so easily on Raw. Whether he follows through and takes Joe’s title is — much like the man himself — up in the air. But making it to the dance at all is no small feat. Ricochet is your Superstar of the Week.
At WWE Stomping Grounds, Dolph Ziggler will again challenge for Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship, but unlike their last intense title clash, the rematch will take place inside the unforgiving confines of a steel cage.
Ziggler demanded the rematch and the steely stipulation in the immediate aftermath of his loss to The Dreadlocked Dynamo at WWE Super ShowDown. Kingston’s triumph wasn’t without controversy, as his New Day brother-in-arms, Xavier Woods, superkicked Ziggler during in the bout’s waning moments. Some members of the WWE Universe might argue Woods’ actions were warranted — the kick was in retaliation for an unprovoked attack by Ziggler moments earlier — but The Showoff saw the interference as nothing more than a desperation move, with Woods doing Kingston’s dirty work for him. By demanding the rematch be fought inside a steel cage, Ziggler has guaranteed that the scenario will not repeat itself at WWE Stomping Grounds. There will be no outside interference, only two world-class Superstars — one the defending champion who’s living out his dream, the other a bitter and dangerous challenger who’s ascended the mountaintop before. And lest it be forgotten, the steel cage will do more than keep intruders at bay; it will also be a perfectly legal weapon for Kingston and Ziggler to use to grind each other to a pulp, all in the name of championship glory. Tune in to this high-stakes and high-risk championship battle when WWE Stomping Grounds streams live Sunday, June 23, at 7 ET/4 PT, exclusively on the award-winning WWE Network. A massive fans of wrestling Frederic Adhitama has tweeted a match about Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler (Steel Cage Match) Please see the following tweets down below.
It’s becoming clear to Becky Lynch and the rest of the WWE Universe that Lacey Evans isn’t going away anytime soon. Despite falling short in her first Raw Women’s Championship opportunity at WWE Money in the Bank, The Sassy Southern Belle has persistently hounded The Irish Lass Kicker, meaning she’ll soon get her immaculate hands on a second one at WWE Stomping Grounds.
That might appear to be a bold reward for a Superstar whose victories have been largely moral. But Evans has been a consistent thorn in the side of Becky Lynch, who by her own admission was too “content” in the wake of her historic WrestleMania victory to properly protect her Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. Evans took advantage of that comfort, contributing to Becky’s loss of the blue title — a championship that, for now, at least, seems beyond The Man’s reach — but Lynch didn’t let herself off the hook and has slowly pieced together back the hunger that carried her to the mountaintop. Seen in that light, Evans’ second opportunity doesn’t just make sense; it seems like ample reward. By continually targeting and getting the better of Lynch, she brought the best back out of a champion who could have just as easily plateaued. The Lady of WWE brought Becky Lynch back to fight. It’s only fitting she gets what she deserves. Tune in to WWE Stomping Grounds, streaming live Sunday, June 23, at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.
Seth Rollins did the impossible at WWE Super ShowDown. At WWE Stomping Grounds, he’ll have to do it again.
Less than three weeks after retaining his Universal Championship in Jeddah by defeating Baron Corbin, then fending off Brock Lesnar’s Money in the Bank cash-in attempt by drill ing The Beast with a vicious low blow and raining down a barrage of steel chair strikes, Rollins will be in a nearly identical situation. At WWE Stomping Grounds, Rollins must defend his championship against the dangerous Lone Wolf while looking over his shoulder for “Mr. Beast in the Bank.” And this time, Corbin has been given the right to select a Special Guest Referee for the matchup. If anyone can do it, it’s The Beastslayer, who has been on the biggest roll of his WWE career in 2019, winning the Men’s Royal Rumble, slaying The Beast at WrestleMania to capture the Universal Championship, and retaining it in barnburners against AJ Styles and Corbin. After succeeding in his mission to turn the red brand into “Monday Night Rollins” with an abundance of show-stealing matches, Rollins will attempt to finally silence the outspoken Lone Wolf by Stomping him into oblivion and maintaining his iron grip on the title. The hot-tempered Corbin seemingly has no one to blame but himself for his loss to Rollins, as the former Raw General Manager-Elect spent a significant amount of the title fight arguing with referee John Cone after coming within an eyelash of winning the championship on several occasions. Doing so gave the ever-opportunistic Architect the brief opening he needed to stun The Lone Wolf with a roll-up for the 1-2-3, though Corbin tattooed the Universal Champion with a ring-rattling End of Days after the bout, leaving Rollins susceptible to a potential cash-in from Brock Lesnar. Even if Rollins gets past the former United States Champion in what is certain to be a grueling championship collision, Lesnar could be lurking nearby. And while The Beast hasn’t appeared to be in a hurry to cash in his contract – instead choosing to let the sword of Damocles dangle over the head of The Beastslayer (and even WWE Champion Kofi Kingston to a lesser extent) – a likely still-seething Lesnar could be champing at the bit to end Rollins’ reign after being embarrassed by him at WWE Super ShowDown. Who will walk out of the Tacoma Dome with the Universal Title? Tune in to WWE Stomping Grounds, streaming live Sunday, June 23, at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network to find out! Categories: WWE WWE Champion Frederic Adhitama once again look to win second championship belt by pinning the current United States Champion Will Dawson on the red brand but winning a championship isn't that easy to do you have to show and give it your best shot to be the Double Champion he would say.
Today WWE Champion Frederic Adhitama def United States Champion Will Dawson to become New United States Champion. Now he finally bring two championship with him! Congrats to Double Champ WWE Champion & United States Champion Frederic Adhitama One of the worst things to happen is to expect something to happen just the way you want it only for the exact opposite to happen. That’s life and that sort of thing happens more often than not. Everyone encounters disappointing situations but the ones that deal with it best are the ones who view the disappoint differently. While others sulk in the disappointment waiting for someone to save them from this bad feeling, here are 10 ways to save yourself from disappointment.
1. Let go of all expectations This is something that can be found in Buddhist philosophy and there’s a reason why this piece of advice has stood the test of time. Let go of any expectations you may have. This is not to say don’t expect big things from yourself or don’t dream big. The truth is not as black and white as you think. It is perfectly fine to have big dreams. The only problem comes when you take action on those dreams and you become attached to the outcome. This is especially true when it comes to anything outside of your control such as other people and situations that you may face throughout your day. If you hold onto that expectation you have of others, you will find yourself putting your inner peace at the whims of others because their actions will dictate how you feel. 2. Forgive yourself for past mistakes We’ve all had failures and regrets throughout our lives. You cannot go through life without making a couple mistakes here and there. It’s a part of life but you know what’s also a part of life? Learning and growing. Behind every tragic mistake is a great life lesson. It might just be that the lesson you learned was the lesson to take you to the next level in your life but you would not have gotten there without learning this crucial lesson. Instill the habit of becoming grateful for not only the good, but the not so good as well. 3. The 5 by 5 rule You’re only on this Earth for so long so it doesn’t really matter all that much if a little milk spilled? When it comes to situations like these I like to implement the 5 by 5 rule. If it won’t matter in 5 years then don’t spend longer than 5 minutes worrying about it. The longer you worry about petty situations, the more you get distracted from what is truly important in your day. You have big goals and aspirations, is it really in your best interest to worry about how something that didn’t turn out like you wanted. Have a purpose and vision that makes you feel as though diverting even a minute would be wasting precious time from getting where you want to be. 4. Don’t try to change people We all have an inherent need to help and contribute to others. Recall the last time you helped someone in need. You may have noticed that it felt good to help and were much more prone to help the next time around. This help may only come as a problem when it comes in the form of unsolicited advice. Some lessons people have to learn the hard way and on their own because ultimately those will be the most impactful lessons. Everyone is going through their own progression in life. Think back to yourself five years ago or even 10 years ago. You can think of a couple mistakes you made but it those mistakes that were never repeated because of the harsh way that you had to learn it and it might just have been the only way you would have learned it. 5. Only give advice if asked This relates back to what was mentioned before. You might find yourself in a similar situation. You’re friend might be telling you a problem he’s having and it might just be the same problem you’ve had in the past and you just want to blurt and tell him what you wish you could’ve heard back when you’re struggling with that same problem. So you blurt it out and it’s received negatively. Sometimes people just want to be heard and understood. So give them that and then if they ask you, let them know what you’ve been wanting to tell them. Remember that you want to give value to people and not force value because if you force onto them, it will be perceived as the complete opposite of what you intended. 6. Be the change where you want it If you’re an environment lacks certain qualities, norms, and values then embody those by being the example and eventually that same behavior will permeate to everyone in the group. It works. If you’re constantly surrounded by people who complain and gossip, how likely do you think it is that you’ll do the same as well. Very likely, especially if they’re close to you. 7. Focus on the process Having a grand vision for your future is great but the pitfall can come when you have the vision but you hold onto it and expect the result sooner than what is realistic. Everything takes time. The greater the vision, the more steps it takes to get there. Certain things must happen before you arrive to your goal. Having said that, a much better approach is to focus on laying the best brick today so that it adds to making a strong and solid wall that can’t be torn down. It is very disappointing to not see results right away but when you understand that what you want is inevitable so long as you keep going and you approach every step with your best effort. 8. Do what you love Ever notice how when you do what you love, you are in such a great mood that almost nothing can bring you down. When doing something you love, you put yourself in the optimal state of joy and happiness which is always the best way to operate from when dealing with inconvenient or unfortunate situation. One of the best ways to get out of the dampening feeling of disappointment is to do the activity that makes you absolutely happy and makes time fly by. It will only make you feel better ad forget about the situation you’ve been thinking about. 9. Choose your inner circle carefully The people that you surround yourself with consistently have a huge impact on your thoughts, actions, and behaviors not only in the future but in the present and what you think and do in the present will undoubtedly affect your future so pick and choose your close friends carefully. If you’re surrounded by people who are constantly letting you down, then its time to make a switch in the people you surround yourself with. A big factor in the quality of your life is the quality of your relationships. Ever heard “happy wife, happy life”? 10. Adapt to the unexpected If there is anything that is sure in this life, it’s change. Change is happening all around us at all times and sometimes it might take a while to how itself but be sure that it’s coming and it will most likely not be convenient for you. The first step in adapting to change is accepting that it is there. There are things in life that are just out of your control…and that’s okay. You only need to have control over yourself. Begin to shift your mentality to that of constant growth because only then change will not be something that surprises but rather something you already expect like an old friend returning to you. In moments of crisis, time has shown that it is those who adapt the best, that do the best. -Mr Riley Johnson- College Board Chairman |
